Sales Intern
Posted 2026-05-06This internship is part of the Capitol market area sales organization, a team known for its solid sales leadership and teamwork. You'll get to explore the various products WM offers to the Public Sector while learning how things work behind the scenes and help WM drive purpose in everything we do. Whether you're diving into data, pitching ideas, or helping make things run smoother, what you do will matter—and we want to hear what you think.
- Uses problem solving skills, determines problems, and understand fundamental parts of the problem.
- Conducts analysis as directed, and prepares and delivers insights and recommendations based on analysis.
- Synthesizes findings and draws conclusions from analyses and makes oral/written recommendations to supervisor and/or manager.
- Executes tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements.
Communicates issues and roadblocks related to areas of responsibility.
- Interns must have a High school diploma or GED (accredited) and be pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (accredited) in a field of study relevant to the internship.
- Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.
