Summary:

An Account Manager selling role is focused on accounts that can be reached and sold to through use of phone and internet and other digital medium.

 

Duties:

  • Penetrate and grow current and prospective accounts, via outbound calls, email, and other digital mediums.
  • Meet and exceed daily KPI expectations through a consistent process in a structured inside sales environment.
  • Identify targeted opportunities that align to active promotions and new/increased capabilities.
  • Prospect, validate, and convert new prospects by identifying and targeting appropriate influencers.
  • Keep account information updated in CRM, including competitive information, opportunity metrics, brand and parts focus to inform account strategy.
  • Understand customer business objectives and translate into company differentiated advantage.
  • Keep current with company offerings, value advantage, and competitive landscape.
  • Proactively work with Business Development Representative to validate/close opportunities.
  • Penetrate and grow rest of market opportunity as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training.

 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to sit for prolonged periods.

 

Working Conditions:

Heated and air-conditioned office.
