- Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and test mechanical components for robotic systems.
- Conduct structural analyses and simulations to validate mechanical designs.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including software engineers, electronics specialists, and robotics integrators.
- Ensure all mechanical designs comply with safety standards, reliability requirements, and performance objectives.
- Continuously contribute to improving and optimizing existing robotic systems.
- Clearly document design processes, technical specifications, and testing outcomes.
- Oversee the fabrication and assembly of mechanical components to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues during development, testing, and operational phases.
- Perform mechanical assembly and troubleshooting to guarantee system integration and functionality.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, prototyping, and assembly, specifically for robotics or automation systems.
- Strong proficiency with CAD software for detailed mechanical design and assembly modeling.
- Experience using structural analysis tools and methodologies (FEA, stress analysis).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong aptitude for troubleshooting mechanical design challenges.
- Exceptional collaborative skills, with effective communication across diverse teams.
