    What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Maintain and expand on current technical and product documentation content
  • Establish content and distribution guidelines based on audience
  • Collaborate with Product Management to clarify documentation needs and requirements
  • Conduct interviews with developers, consultants, and subject matter experts for data gathering
  • Participate in Product Development planning sessions to ensure documentation specifications are met
  • Plan and strategize structural and content changes in documentation
  • Provide copy editing, technical editing, and proofreading services
  • Manage the generation of documentation throughout its lifecycle
  • Plan and facilitate meetings related to documentation management
    What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Degree in Computer Science, English, Technical Writing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in technical communications and information design
  • Advanced knowledge of documentation and collaboration software
  • Advanced knowledge of desktop publishing and web authoring software
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Experience in handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills
    How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience working with programming languages
  • Understanding of and experience in the Utility industry
  • Familiarity with style guides such as Microsoft Manual of Style, AP, or Chicago Manual of Style
