The RSP Coordinator, under the supervision of the Director of Residential Services, is responsible for how services are delivered including administrative functions, quality assurance and compliance as well as staff management to promote greater independence. This role is also responsible for assisting individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs in various environments. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of this position consist of the ability to perform basic math functions, write, read, and comprehend what is read.  Expressive and receptive language skills are also required in the execution of the responsibilities below. The ability to transfer and lift individuals with or without assistance and to occasionally push/pull may also be required.  Twisting, bending, and other physical movements may be required at varying degrees. All the above may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

 

DUTIES

•    Direct and oversee daily program operations within assigned remote support caseloads through the supervision of direct reports. 

•    Assists with growing program services and collaborating to ensure the person’s needs are met and develops and implements Remote Support operations plans based on individual’s needs

•    Collaborate with Program Case Administrator on individual needs and to ensure outcome goals are met. 

•    Under the supervision of the Director of Residential Services, participates in interviews, selection, and the onboarding process of new hires.

•    Participate in employee relations activities with the team and engage in disciplinary actions, as needed, with assistance from Human Resources. 

•    Ensure services are provided in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

•    Facilitates effective communication within the team, including external individual supports. 

•    Assist with annual licensing preparation and plans of corrections as needed. 

•    Partner with leadership team to manage the communications for staff and leadership including annual enrollment guides, new hire guides, etc.

•    Coach and mentor direct reports; provide training, oversee performance, and aid with career progression

•    Participates in creating budgets and ensures adherence (includes billing and utilization as necessary)

•    Assists with emergent technology disruptions, troubleshooting remote support issues and providing Assistive Technology support as needed. Travel to site locations may be necessary.

•    Monitors and completes reports accurately and timely

•    Ensures staff are appropriately trained in service delivery while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements.

•    Stays up to date on industry practices and ensures appropriate ongoing training of staff

•    Attend and participate in scheduled training and meetings.

•    Covers open remote support shifts as necessary and performs other duties as required or assigned by the Director of Residential Services.

 

HOURS:    This is a non-exempt position. Responsible to work 20-40+ hours per week (as applicable to position) with flexible hours as required by program needs and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Provides on call support as needed in collaboration with the Director of Residential Services.
