[Remote] Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Responsibilities
• Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases across web, mobile, and API environments
• Implement automated testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to improve release velocity
• Identify, document, and track defects using systems such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
• Perform regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure system stability and scalability

Skills
• 5+ years of experience in [relevant field or technology]
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Proven ability to solve problems and work independently
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and methods
• Deep familiarity with QA methodologies, including shift-left testing and CI/CD integration
• Experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Strong understanding of API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured
• Ability to analyze logs, debug issues, and communicate findings clearly to technical teams
• Proactive mindset toward improving quality processes and reducing production defects
