[Remote] Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer who can provide end-to-end solutions in a fast, agile environment. The role involves developing software and systems, identifying improvements, and helping clients overcome challenges using the latest technologies.

Responsibilities

• Resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment
• Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready
• Use passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements
• Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies
• Ensure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements

Skills

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, VueJS, PostgreSQL, or PLSQL
• Experience with Git or Jira
• Knowledge of web application development
• Knowledge of web services and client development
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud development
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Associate's degree in a STEM field
• Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 3 months of start date
• Experience with Apache Maven
• Experience with Apache TomEE or Tomcat
• Experience with unit testing or other automated testing methods and tools
• Experience with AWS Cloud development
• Knowledge of Jenkins
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and processes
• Bachelor's degree
