[Remote] Software Acceleration Associate (Entry Level Sales) - Albany, New York

Thryv is a company devoted to the success of local businesses, and they are seeking a Software Acceleration Associate to join their team. This role is designed as a 6-month program to transition candidates into software account management, focusing on outbound sales and developing skills for future roles.

Responsibilities

• Drive outbound outreach and actively create qualified sales opportunities
• Deliver compelling, value-driven messaging to SMB and mid-market prospects
• Execute structured call, email, and LinkedIn engagement strategies
• Partner closely with SAM leaders and sales partners to refine conversion tactics
• Strengthen your SaaS sales acumen through ongoing coaching, training, and hands-on platform experience
• Demonstrate consistent performance within a structured evaluation framework

Skills

• 1–2 years of outbound sales experience
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Confidence engaging with decision makers across phone, email, and social channels
• Ability to manage high volume, handle objections, and build pipeline
• Desire to strengthen full-cycle SaaS sales skills in a closing role
• Comfort working within structured goals, metrics, and performance expectations
• A growth mindset and strong coachability
• Ability to travel less than 5% of the time (should live local to the city on the job posting)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required
• Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed
• SaaS experience preferred but not required
