Remote SAT Tutor

We’re looking for tutors who can help high school students improve through structured weekly prep, mistake-pattern review, assigned practice, and clear accountability. This is not a generic homework-help role. Students need a clear plan, consistent follow-through, and practical Digital SAT strategy.

What you’ll do:

• Tutor students 1:1 online via our learnhaus platform

• Help build weekly SAT prep plans based on score reports and diagnostics

• Teach SAT Math and/or Reading & Writing

• Review missed questions and identify mistake patterns

• Assign targeted practice between sessions

• Help students with pacing, timing, and test strategy

• Write short session summaries after each session

• Communicate clearly and professionally with LearnHaus and, when needed, parents

Strong fit if you:

• Scored 1450+ on the SAT or equivalent ACT

• Are especially strong in SAT Math or Reading

• Have tutoring or teaching experience

• Can explain concepts clearly online

• Are comfortable holding students accountable without being harsh

• Can write concise, useful session notes

• Are reliable with scheduling and communication

Nice to have:

• Prior SAT/ACT tutoring experience

• Experience with College Board Bluebook practice tests

• Ability to tutor both SAT Math and Reading/Writing

• Experience helping students who need structure and motivation

Logistics:

• Remote / online only

• US-based preferred

• Independent contractor role

• Flexible part-time hours

• Typical student load: 1–2 students to start

• Sessions are usually evenings or weekends

• Pay based on experience and tutor band
