They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to support their B2B sales process by identifying prospective customers and qualifying leads while contributing to the company's mission of respect for people and the planet.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and qualify inbound inquiries to determine customer needs and potential sales opportunities
- Schedule and conduct introductory and discovery discussions with prospective customers (resellers, distributors, and end users)
- Provide accurate information regarding company products, services, and capabilities
- Assist senior sales personnel with opportunity development, proposals, and follow‑up activities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sales activities within the company’s CRM system
- Support the preparation of quotes, sales materials, processing of orders and related documentation
- Participate in product training and maintain current knowledge of hardware offerings and industry trends
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in sales, business development, or technology
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Information Science, Information IT, or related field
- Internship or project experience related to sales, customer service, or technology
- Familiarity with CRM systems or sales‑related software, such as HubSpot
- Basic understanding of computer hardware concepts
- Experience in a customer‑facing role (retail, hospitality, support, or service)
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships
- Interest in long‑term career growth within sales, account management, or customer‑facing roles
- Comfort engaging with customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to ask thoughtful, discovery‑driven questions
- Self‑motivation and a proactive approach to learning new products, tools, and sales techniques
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development programs designed to support career progression
