Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of inbound customer calls efficiently
- Listen actively to understand and address customer needs
- Provide information regarding payments and benefits from state or federal agencies
- Assist with transaction inquiries and account status updates
- Process transactions via web-based applications accurately
- Communicate empathetically while ensuring confidentiality and compliance
- Maintain knowledge of relevant programs, policies, and technologies
- Support team operations during peak periods or absences
Skills
- Minimum age of 18 and possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of experience in customer service, call center, or dispatch roles
- Successful completion of background check, credit check, and security fingerprinting
- Compliance with camera requirements for meetings and training
- Verified, secure, reliable, high-speed internet connection
- Dedicated work area with desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
- Equipment provided by the organization
- Internet speed test minimum of 50 Mbps upload and 50 Mbps download
- Working knowledge of computers and Windows applications
- Over 1 year of previous call center experience
