Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Disabled Veteran Solutions (DVS) is seeking passionate and dedicated Customer Advocates to join our Customer Service Division. As a Customer Advocate, you will be the primary point of contact for individuals, guiding them through their healthcare needs with empathy and professionalism.


Responsibilities

  • Guide individuals through their healthcare needs with empathy, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Navigate PCPs and medications
  • Coordinate appointments and benefits

Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance operations or a related field
  • Proficiency in using multiple web-based platforms and tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent active listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional and empathetic tone
  • Genuine passion for improving the lives of others
  • Background in healthcare, insurance, social work, or behavioral health
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and health benefit plans
  • Proven success in a customer service environment, especially in complex, high-volume settings
