Position Overview

This is a part-time, remote position requiring 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will work during our core business hours from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and transferring new customer orders into our Point of Sale (POS) system with precision and efficiency.

The plumbing supply industry is fast-paced and demand-driven, making accuracy in order processing essential. Every entry you make ensures that our customers receive the correct products on time, which is why your attention to detail is so crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities


  • Order Entry & Processing: Accurately enter and transfer new customer orders into the POS system promptly, ensuring all product details, quantities, and specifications are correctly recorded.

  • Data Verification: Double-check order details to ensure data accuracy, including product codes, quantities, pricing, shipping addresses, and customer information.

  • Quality Control: Flag and clarify any discrepancies in orders before entry, proactively communicating with team members to resolve issues and prevent errors.

  • Record Maintenance: Maintain organized records of entered orders for tracking, reporting, and audit purposes, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and accessible.

  • System Navigation: Quickly learn and become proficient in our POS system and other related software tools used for order management.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and address any order-related inquiries.
