They are seeking a Light Industrial Sales Representative to manage customer-related activities, achieve sales goals, and develop relationships within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Exercise primary control over all customer-related activities and problems within the assigned area
- Support other factory-functional areas to complete assigned sales and marketing goals
- Manage the direct selling activities of specific Quincy products located in the assigned geographical territory
- Perform all assigned tasks to ensure that individual and company goals are achieved in respect to maximum sales volume and profitability
- Prospect new and drifted accounts to generate revenue
- Design and layout compressed air solutions, focusing on 125 HP and below systems
- Develop a dealer network to help grow equipment market share
- Develop relationships with key accounts in assigned territory
- Track customer calls and provide reports accordingly using CRM tool as directed
- Effectively manage quote log and follow up as needed
- Audit compressed air systems and present results
- Work with local utility companies to process rebates for energy savings
- Increase rapport with customer via effective troubleshooting of current system
- Develop understanding of competitive landscape in compressor market
- Stay current with developments in all Quincy products and offerings
- Provide training to customers
- Achieve sales goals in sales territory
Skills
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or Management considered with supplemental technical training or experience
- You have 1 to 3 years of sales experience in compressor industry experience (preferred)
- You have a general knowledge of industrial products including compressed air products and markets, including but not limited to air compressors, vacuum pumps and air treatment
- You have the ability to create and manage marketing plans and strategies
- You have exceptional communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter
- You are able to travel frequently by air travel to attend trainings and sales meetings
- You are extremely proficient in Excel, CRM, search engines, and database management
- 1 to 3 years of sales experience in compressor industry experience
