Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality and compliance initiatives within a fast-paced, regulated environment. This role is responsible for reviewing work outputs, ensuring adherence to established standards, and driving continuous process improvements.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, organized, and thrives in a collaborative setting while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality reviews of case work, reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client standards
Identify trends, errors, and process gaps; recommend and implement corrective actions
Monitor production metrics and turnaround times to ensure service level expectations are met
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and regulatory requirements
Maintain detailed quality assurance records, audit logs, and reporting documentation
Investigate quality issues and partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Provide feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance and quality outcomes
Assist with onboarding and training new team members on quality standards and processes
Support documentation preparation for audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and stakeholders to enhance quality processes
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in an administrative healthcare position (Patient access, insurance verification, medical assistant, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with data tracking, reporting, or audit processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, insurance, or regulated environments
Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements
Experience reviewing case files, audits, or documentation workflows

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
