QUALIFICATIONSSuperior organizational skillsMust have a passion for learningPrior experience with neurodivergent populations is a big plusOrganizational skills required to schedule and manage a busy caseload of studentsAcademic background with the ability to tutor one or more content areas preferred. MATH IS A MUST. These subjects include but are not limited to: English, Critical Reading, History, Spanish, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Statistics, Calculus, lower level Math, History, Gov and WritingMust be available Sunday (9am-5pm PST) plus 4 weekdays between the hours of 2-10pm PST weekdaysMust be comfortable using various software and technologyJOB SUMMARYAs a Content Instructor, you will work 1:1 with students to help them identify and change the habits preventing their success in school and other aspects of their life. You will also support their positive growth as individuals. We are looking for someone whose beliefs line up with the philosophies and science of cognitive behavioral therapy who wants to work with neurodivergent students to learn more effective habits. We want to meet people who are deeply interested in and passionate about helping students alter their patterns of behavior to achieve success and reducing social stigma in the community.
