Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead and develop culinary operations entirely remotely. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize, design, and execute innovative menus that align with our brand identity and target audience, ensuring variety, seasonality, and profitability. Develop and refine standardized recipes and plating guides to ensure consistency and quality across all operations. Oversee the selection and management of food suppliers, negotiating favorable contracts and ensuring the highest quality ingredients are sourced. Implement and enforce rigorous food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with all local and national regulations. Develop and manage food cost controls, inventory management systems, and budget adherence to maximize profitability. Create and lead online culinary training programs for kitchen staff, focusing on skill development, technique, and food safety. Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to develop compelling culinary content and promotions. Monitor industry trends and incorporate them into menu planning and operational strategies. Utilize digital collaboration tools to effectively manage teams, communicate goals, and provide feedback. Conduct virtual site inspections or audits as needed to ensure operational standards are met. Foster a culture of creativity, excellence, and continuous improvement within the culinary team. Qualifications: Extensive professional culinary experience, with a significant portion in an executive or leadership role. Proven ability in menu engineering, recipe development, and food costing. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, ServSafe). Demonstrated success in managing budgets and controlling food costs. Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage remote teams. Proficiency with virtual collaboration software (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Asana) and digital inventory management systems. Culinary degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience. A creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
