Position Overview


We are currently seeking a dedicated Remote Data Entry Support Specialist to provide comprehensive clerical and data entry support to our Adult Education office. This full-time remote position is available to qualified candidates throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple databases while maintaining strict confidentiality standards.

As a Data Entry Support Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing critical information systems that track student progress, program outcomes, and grant compliance. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve adult learners effectively and demonstrate the measurable results that sustain our educational programs.

Key Responsibilities


The Remote Data Entry Support Specialist will be tasked with a variety of essential functions that support our Adult Education operations:


  • Database Management: Manage multiple databases with precision to ensure accurate record-keeping and optimal data organization across all program areas.

  • Grant Data Entry: Enter required grant data accurately into the NRS (National Reporting System) to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting deadlines with 100% accuracy.

  • Compliance Management: Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices for attendance tracking and assessment data in accordance with federal and state guidelines.

  • Student Data Security: Ensure strict compliance with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) requirements, maintaining required security of student data at all times.

  • Quality Assurance: Complete regular error checks and data cleanup activities in the NRS to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.

  • Information Accessibility: Ensure that data is accessible in a timely manner to program staff, administrators, and other stakeholders as needed.

  • Deadline Management: Organize and prioritize tasks effectively to meet all local, state, and program deadlines without compromising quality.

  • Student Outcome Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate student outcomes including pre and post testing with state-mandated assessments, ensuring comprehensive tracking of learner progress.

  • Professional Development: Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and contribute to team objectives.

  • Document Management: Scan documents and label items systematically for digital archival and easy retrieval.

  • Supply Management: Maintain inventory of office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.

  • Word Processing: Perform basic word processing duties including document creation, formatting, and editing.

  • File Organization: Organize digital files and materials using established naming conventions and directory structures.

  • Communications Support: Prepare mailings and assist with filing tasks to maintain efficient office operations.

  • Additional Assignments: Perform other duties as required to support the effective functioning of the Adult Education office.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:


  • Education: High School diploma or GED required

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of standard office practices and procedures

  • Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Software, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Excel
