About the Role: Remote Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the frontline ambassador of our brand, engaging with customers through phone calls, chats, and emails. This is a remote position that offers flexibility while maintaining the high standards that have made arenaflex a leader in the home furnishings industry. You'll handle an estimated 50-60 phone calls per shift in a fast-paced, highly structured environment where every interaction matters.

Key Responsibilities


  • Customer Engagement: Professionally engage with customers who reach out via inbound phone calls, chats, and emails. Build meaningful relationships by understanding their unique needs and guiding them through their shopping journey with arenaflex.

  • Post-Order Support: Empathetically assist customers navigate a variety of post-order issues including shipping questions, damages, returns, replacements, delivery services, and order notifications. Be their trusted advisor when challenges arise.

  • Active Listening & Empathy: Actively listen to understand customer concerns and leverage internal resources to discover the best approach to thoroughly address their problems. Show genuine care in every interaction.

  • Problem Solving: Think analytically to solve customer issues in a first-contact resolution method. Solutions aren't one-size-fits-all, and you'll have the autonomy to help customers find the right answer for their specific situation.

  • De-Escalation Skills: Use your conflict management abilities to balance the needs of the customer with the options available from the business while always maintaining a professional composure.

  • Multitasking & Tech Savvy: Juggle navigating multiple browsers, tabs, tools, and displays to quickly and accurately answer questions. Be comfortable learning new programs and technologies.

  • Reliability & Attendance: Demonstrate commitment by being present and on time for your complete shift every day. Be proactive in communication and planning for any unexpected situations.

  • Performance Excellence: Meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals while excelling in customer support performance metrics. Strive to deliver exceptional service in every interaction.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas where improvement is needed on behalf of arenaflex customers and share any trends with leadership to help improve overall customer experience.

Basic Requirements:


  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must hold a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently

  • Basic knowledge of working within Windows Operating Systems or equivalent

  • Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions during your shift

  • Must have reliable high-speed internet connection

  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Previous customer service experience (not required – we train the right people!)

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (a significant plus!)

  • Experience with troubleshooting common technical issues

  • Background in e-commerce or retail environments

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
