Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative within arenaflex's Pharmacy Benefits Management division, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver enhanced human-centric health care. What You'll Do

As a vital member of our customer care team, you will:


  • Handle inbound customer calls with enthusiasm and empathy, addressing questions about prescription insurance coverage, medication benefits, and pharmacy options

  • Educate members on their prescription drug plans, explaining coverage details, copay structures, and eligibility requirements in clear, understandable terms

  • Guide members through mail order prescription processes, helping them understand how to fill maintenance medications through our convenient delivery services

  • Resolve customer concerns by actively listening, researching solutions, and providing accurate information that addresses their specific needs

  • Troubleshoot billing and claims issues, working collaboratively with our claims department to ensure accurate processing and member satisfaction

  • Document all interactions thoroughly in our customer relationship management system to maintain comprehensive member records

  • Identify opportunities to educate members about cost-saving options, generic alternatives, and pharmacy network benefits

  • Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call handling time, customer satisfaction scores, and first-call resolution rates

  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current on evolving health care policies, pharmaceutical industry changes, and arenaflex product offerings

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations and federal/state privacy requirements

Qualifications We're Seeking

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of experience interacting with customers in a professional environment (call center, retail, hospitality, or military customer service background accepted)
  • Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • Must reside within 75 miles of Las Vegas, NV
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including rotating shifts, evenings, and weekends as needed
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally
  • Strong typing skills and ability to type at least 35 words per minute
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent college credits in a related field
  • Previous experience in pharmacy, health insurance, or medical customer service
  • Bilingual language skills (Spanish preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner
  • Experience with Medicare Part D or prescription benefit plans
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements
