Position Overview

As a Remote Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be the frontline voice of our pharmacy operations, engaging with pet parents who rely on us for their furry family members' health needs. This position is perfect for individuals who excel at building relationships, solving problems creatively, and maintaining composure under pressure. You'll handle inbound inquiries via phone and other communication channels, ensuring each customer receives personalized, knowledgeable, and compassionate assistance.

This role requires you to be a resident of Kentucky, residing within 90 miles of Louisville, Kentucky. All work must be performed within the state of Kentucky, and you'll need to successfully pass a background check for the Kentucky Registered Pharmacy Technician (Rx Tech) license. Don't worry if you're not already licensed – we'll support you through the process!

What You'll Do

As an integral member of our customer service team, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Engagement: Respond to inbound calls and digital inquiries from pet parents seeking information about prescriptions, medication refills, order status, and general pharmacy questions. You'll be the friendly voice that reassures worried pet owners and provides clarity on their pet's health needs.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate customer concerns thoroughly, research appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure issues are fully resolved. You'll need to think critically and creatively to find answers that satisfy both the customer's needs and maintain our high standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Pharmacy Support: Assist customers with prescription transfers, insurance inquiries, and medication timing. You'll become knowledgeable about our extensive product catalog and be able to recommend appropriate alternatives when needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions and ensure all communications adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in our regulated pharmacy environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for enhancing our customer service processes, share best practices with teammates, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry developments and company updates.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists, supervisors, and other team members to ensure seamless customer experiences. You'll be supported by a collaborative team that genuinely wants to see you succeed.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Demonstrate flexibility in your work schedule, including the ability to work overtime during peak periods, holidays, and weekends as needed. Our customers need us around the clock, and we need team members who can adapt to changing demands.

What You'll Need

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience: One to two years of previous experience in a customer-focused environment. Retail, hospitality, call center, or healthcare customer service experience is highly valued.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. You should be able to explain complex information clearly, listen actively, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor in every interaction.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. We need team members who can assess situations quickly, identify solutions, and execute them effectively.
  • Multi-tasking Ability: Proficiency in managing multiple customer inquiries simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality. Our fast-paced environment requires someone who can juggle priorities without missing a beat.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable learning new software systems and navigating multiple digital platforms. Experience with CRM systems, call routing technology, and pharmacy management software is a plus.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ability to pass a background check and obtain Kentucky Registered Pharmacy Technician (Rx Tech) licensure within the required timeframe. We'll provide guidance and support throughout this process.
  • Residency Requirement: Must be a resident of Kentucky, residing within 90 miles of Louisville, Kentucky, and able to perform all work responsibilities within the state.
  • Commitment to Excellence: A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a drive to be your best every single day. We're looking for team members who take pride in their work and consistently exceed expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualities and experiences will help you stand out:
