We're currently seeking a talented and motivated Remote Contact Center Chat Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be the frontline ambassador of our brand, serving our members' needs through multiple digital channels including chat, messaging, email, and phone. You'll be the one-stop shop for providing resolutions on various financial topics, from debit card inquiries and dispute resolutions to deposit postings, NSF fees, transfers, and so much more. What You'll Do
As a Remote Contact Center Chat Representative at arenaflex, no two days will be the same. You'll be empowered to make a meaningful impact in our members' financial lives while developing valuable skills that will serve you throughout your career. Here's what you can expect in this role:
- Digital Channel Excellence: Efficiently and effectively answer member inquiries, solve problems, and assist with transactions and lending inquiries through digital channels including email, web and mobile messaging, chat, and text. You'll master multiple platforms and become a digital communication pro.
- Membership Application Support: Provide exceptional support to ensure online membership applications are completed and submitted within a timely manner. You'll help new members take their first steps with arenaflex, setting the tone for a lasting relationship.
- Financial Consultation: Effectively discuss members' needs on financial matters through multiple remote technology secured/unsecured access channels. You'll be trained to understand their goals and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert for all online products and services including Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit, External Transfers, Online Account Opening, Mobile Banking, Chat and Text Support. Your knowledge will inspire confidence in our members.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong working knowledge of arenaflex's products and services. Stay current with our offerings so you can always provide accurate and helpful information.
- Sales and Service: Identify opportunities to cross-sell arenaflex products and services while maintaining a customer-first approach. Open and close deposit accounts of all types with precision and professionalism.
- Relationship Building: Build lasting relationships with members by understanding their unique needs and providing personalized solutions that exceed their expectations.

Essential Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service position
- Must meet the requirements for our Telecommuting Program
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and member service skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable in a sales environment with the ability to naturally promote products and services
- Excellent grammar and writing skills (this is crucial for digital communication)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a contact center or customer service call center environment
- Background in financial services or banking industry
- Experience with CRM systems and helpdesk software
- Knowledge of credit union products and services
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish, Vietnamese, or other languages a plus)

Your Work Environment
As a Remote Contact Center Chat Representative, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home while still being part of the arenaflex family. Here's what you need to know about your work arrangement:
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central Time
- Training Period: The first 60 days will be on-site for training at our Corporate Campus located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This in-person training ensures you have the foundation for success.
- Telecommuting: After completing training, telecommuting is possible for this position. You'll have the opportunity to work from your home office.
- Home Office Requirements:
- A dedicated workspace free from distractions
- Secure and strong internet connection (minimum requirements will be provided)
- An environment free from loud noises or outside distractions
- Ability to not be a caretaker for any dependents (adult or child) for the entirety of your scheduled shift
- Travel: Travel is not necessary for this position once training is complete.
