[Remote] Collections/ Customer Service Specialist - Remote

The Collections/Customer Service Specialist supports automotive finance clients in a fast-paced contact center, managing customer service interactions and performing soft collections to help meet financial targets.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of customer service tasks, including managing payments, due dates, and account updates
• Process ACH requests and provide accurate payoff quotes
• Conduct soft collections for accounts 1-45 days past due
• Establish and negotiate repayment plans with customers
• Utilize skip tracing tools to locate and update customer information
• Maintain a high level of efficiency in a high-volume contact center environment

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one year of experience in a high-volume contact center
• Ability to obtain required collections licensing (costs covered by the organization) across multiple states
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage difficult conversations professionally
• Proficiency in navigating financial and customer management software
