Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ECS is seeking a Civilian Personnel Management Support to work remotely. The role involves preparing travel authorizations, processing hiring event paperwork, assisting in recruiting, and providing pre-employment information to candidates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare travel authorizations and travel vouchers for invitational travelers, MO wage mariners, and OMAO shoreside employees
- Attend CPMD Hiring Events
- Provide set-up and tear-down assistance
- Process paperwork for hiring event attendees
- Prepare 529's for departing OMAO WM and shoreside employees to get them paid out for leave and comp time balances
- Review and submit separation/termination packages to the ES tickets
- Request CAC deactivations, request travel card closures and balances and submit forms to close out emails of employees that are no longer working for NOAA
- Assist in recruiting Wage Mariners via telephone calls and through emails
- Provide pre-employment information regarding job requirements, location, wages, benefits, allowances, and employment policies to potential candidates
- Assist in WM new hire pre-employment processing, i.e. applicant provides all required paperwork, and monitors timely clearances for medical, drug tests, and background (security investigation)
- Assist in CPMD advertising contracts for purchasing and acquisitions processing
- Handle the review, research, resolution, and reply for pay issues for wage mariners
- Provide support and/or research for data calls
- Provide support to fleet VSA’s IAW CBA’s and GOVTA
