[Remote] Business Analyst, Associate

Purdue University is shaping the future through its Procurement Systems team, seeking a Business Analyst, Associate to support supplier relationships and systems. This role involves managing the vendor onboarding lifecycle and ensuring seamless data integration across key platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end onboarding and maintenance of Procurement System vendors
• Monitor and manage all incoming helpdesk requests, providing direction and timely support
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance system performance and implement new functionality
• Apply strong analytical thinking and a customer-service mindset to improve supplier processes

Skills

• BA/BS Degree in Business, Management, Data, Finance, Communications, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• 6 months of experience in finance
• Experience working with Microsoft Office; possesses a developed skill set specifically with Excel
• Excellent organization, problem solving, attention to detail, and customer service/soft skills
• Analytical skills
• Presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Possesses and demonstrates the ability to learn the policies, procedures, and execution within system guidelines
• Experience or familiarity with business analysis, ERP systems, or supplier management tools
• Using an enterprise procurement system
