Regional Operations Manager

Uber Technologies, Inc. is a leading technology company specializing in transportation and logistics. They are seeking a Regional Operations Manager to develop, lead, and implement strategies to achieve business priorities while monitoring key operational and financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Help develop, lead, and implement strategy to achieve business priorities
• Monitor, understand, and interpret key operational and financial metrics to help figure out strategy and action plans
• Develop and apply understanding of levers that move business
• Identify root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend best approach
• Implement, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes, regularly reviewing performance
• Search for features or improvements to improve experience and efficiency of marketplace, measure impact, and collaborate with Product teams to implement launches
• Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal to scope, test, and implement initiatives

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field
• One year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
• Modeling and data visualization using Excel
• Business data analysis
• Using data to inform business decisions
• Statistical language and tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Strata
• Project management
• Building data-driven slide decks using Google Slides or PowerPoint
