Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the friendly voice that customers encounter first when reaching out for HVAC services. Your role is pivotal in creating positive experiences, managing dispatch operations, and ensuring smooth communication between our field technicians and valued customers.   • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Location: Riverdale, NJ

  • Hourly Compensation: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our operations running smoothly and ensure customer satisfaction remains at the forefront of everything we do. Your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Customer Interaction: Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously, addressing customer inquiries, scheduling service appointments, and providing information about our HVAC services and pricing.

  • Dispatch Coordination: Efficiently manage dispatch operations, assigning service calls to field technicians based on location, expertise, and availability while optimizing routes and ensuring timely service delivery.

  • Problem Resolution: Handle customer concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, finding effective solutions that leave customers satisfied and confident in our services.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and dispatch assignments using our industry-standard software systems.

  • Sales Support: Identify opportunities to promote additional services and products, supporting light sales initiatives that help customers optimize their HVAC systems.

  • Communication: Serve as the crucial liaison between customers and field technicians, ensuring clear communication of service expectations, special instructions, and follow-up requirements.

  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various office duties including data entry, file maintenance, and correspondence using Microsoft Office applications.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:


  • High School diploma or equivalent education

  • 1-3 years of proven customer service experience

  • 1-3 years of HVAC dispatcher experience (preferred)

  • Intermediate knowledge of dispatching concepts, practices, and procedures

  • Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar

  • Exceptional phone skills and professional demeanor

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

  • Demonstrated customer service orientation with a passion for helping others

  • Physical ability to sit for extended periods while managing high-volume call flow
