Assist Delta Air Lines Flight Operations teams with training, standards, and flight planning while gaining hands-on experience in a paid, on-site internship.
Your Role
- Here’s what you will be doing:
- Support divisional goals and contribute to the success of Delta Air Lines Flight Operations.
- Work with teams such as Training and Standards, Line Operations, or the Chief Pilot Office.
- Complete individual duties and collaborate on a team assignment presented to Flight Operations Leadership.
- Learn about other departments, including Flight Safety, Operations Customer Center, Technical Operations, In-Flight Service, and Airport Customer Service.
- Work on-site at Delta's World Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.
About You
- The company is looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- At least 18 years old with authorization to work in the United States.
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles; prioritize safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to process complex issues quickly, and maintain confidentiality.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Forms, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
- Competency in managing training equipment, analyzing flight planning data, reading and summarizing regulations, and relating to the advanced jet environment.
- Competitive GPA and good academic standing in an undergraduate aviation degree program.
- Minimum of 150 total flight hours; actively pursuing a Commercial Pilot Certificate or Certified Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI).
- Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, GA, from August 2026 through December 2026.
