Mintz is a law firm seeking a Private Client Coordinator. The role involves performing various functions related to estate planning, estate administration, real estate, and corporate transactions.


Responsibilities

  • Draft, edit and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, living wills, health care proxies, and durable powers of attorney
  • Complete probate forms and file them with the probate court
  • Conduct legal and tax research
  • Draft deeds and record real estate transactions with the registry of deeds
  • Prepare gift and estate tax returns
  • Prepare documents for execution and obtain client signatures, as well as participate in client signing meetings
  • Correspond regularly with outside constituencies and probate court
  • Assist in trust administration
  • Maintain files and records
  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested
  • Log and update all daily tasks, and activities accurately in MyDay by each end of day

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion
  • Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability, and logical thought process
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and meet various deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels

  • Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software is critical
  • Flexibility to work overtime when necessary
  • Minimum two-year commitment required
