Mintz is a law firm seeking a Private Client Coordinator. The role involves performing various functions related to estate planning, estate administration, real estate, and corporate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Draft, edit and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, living wills, health care proxies, and durable powers of attorney
- Complete probate forms and file them with the probate court
- Conduct legal and tax research
- Draft deeds and record real estate transactions with the registry of deeds
- Prepare gift and estate tax returns
- Prepare documents for execution and obtain client signatures, as well as participate in client signing meetings
- Correspond regularly with outside constituencies and probate court
- Assist in trust administration
- Maintain files and records
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested
- Log and update all daily tasks, and activities accurately in MyDay by each end of day
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion
- Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability, and logical thought process
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and meet various deadlines
