Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: onsite with travel / remote option

Required:
- Experience in the development, design, engineering, and construction of High Voltage Transmission line projects (5-7 years);
- Experience understanding one line and three-line diagrams, general arrangements, plan and profiles and other common deliverables;
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering.
Preferred:
- Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience with a strong bias for action;
- Experience with standard industry tools such as PLSCADD, Microsoft products, Auto-CAD, Primavera and other software;
- PMP and/or P.E. in related discipline.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Early Stage Project Managers to define and influence project requirements and scope for transmission line projects;
- Secure engineering consulting resources by developing scopes of work, securing bids, and awarding contracts through NEER’s Integrated Supply Chain Group;
- Coordinate with stakeholders to develop routes, secure permits, and gather necessary engineering data (e.g., geotechnical, survey, lidar);
- Ensure timely production of engineering deliverables, including design criteria, Issued for Bid, Issued for Procurement, and As-built drawings;
- Represent Engineering & Construction (E&C) interests in meetings with various levels of management, providing updates on progress, issues, and risk mitigation strategies;
- Support competitive proposal efforts by contributing to RFP documents and ensuring alignment with project goals;
- Collaborate with other groups to ensure successful project outcomes, including presentations and briefings on project status.
