About the Role
We're looking for an experienced pricing consultant with deep CPaaS or telecom roots to help us build a dual-channel monetization framework — and we need someone who can hit the ground running.
This is a remote, contract engagement running 6–8 weeks with a budget of ~$5,000 (flexible depending on experience).
- Responsibilities
- Build a dual-track financial model comparing marketplace net revenue (post-distributor fees) against direct-sale net revenue
- Design tiered marketplace rate cards that allow CSPs to self-serve and activate in minutes
- Establish floor pricing and volume minimums for direct deals with large CSPs
- Conduct a willingness-to-pay (WTP) audit to identify premium upsell features (10DLC automation, AI auto-replies, CRM sync)
- Leverage existing industry relationships to gather competitive reseller pricing that isn't publicly listed
- Develop a partner ROI/margin calculator for our sales team
- Requirements
- 7+ years of pricing experience in SaaS, CPaaS, UCaaS, or telecom
- Demonstrated experience managing pricing across both direct and partner/distributor channels
- Strong financial modeling skills, particularly unit economics (cost-per-message vs. per-seat billing)
- Active network of relationships in the CSP or UCaaS space
- Ability to work independently and deliver a structured framework with minimal oversight
