Price Cost Analyst - Early Career

Lockheed Martin is a leading technology innovation company focused on solving complex challenges. They are seeking a full-time Early Career Price Cost Analyst responsible for reviewing supplier proposals, analyzing pricing data, and negotiating contracts with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Review supplier proposals, cost and pricing data submitted and all other factors provided by supplier in support of their proposal
• Confer with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect price
• Negotiate standard and non-standard contracts with suppliers
• Maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by parties
• Provide final contract negotiation documents that are consistent with agreements reached in negotiations
• Plan and participate in training of Price/Cost Analysis practices and negotiation techniques to company personnel

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or related field from an accredited college or university
• Coursework experience in 2 or more of the following fields: Negotiations / Supply Chain/ Mathematics / Engineering / Accounting / Financial Analysis / Price Analysis / Cost Analysis / Data Analysis / Risk Management
• Must be a US Citizen
• This position will require a government security clearance
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access
• This position requires the ability to travel both domestic and international up to 25% of the time
• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
• Experience in communicating with internal and external customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
