THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist. This full-time, part-time, PRN position is based in our Austin division.

Ideal Experience: High-Risk Infant (HRI)

We’re specifically seeking an SLP with experience supporting high-risk infants (HRI), including those with prematurity, low birth weight, NICU stays, feeding/swallowing challenges, and early developmental delays. This role is ideal for a clinician who is confident working with infants and their caregivers in the home environment, providing early intervention that supports feeding, communication, and overall developmental outcomes during a critical stage of growth. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and guiding families through early milestones is highly valued.

What you’ll do:

    -Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.

  • Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
  • Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
  • Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
  • Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
  • Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
  • Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
