P&C Account Analyst, Charlotte, NC (Program start June 2026)

NFP, an Aon company, is a recognized leader in Business Insurance, focused on providing consultative solutions to address significant risks. The Account Analyst role involves participating in a structured training program to gain foundational knowledge in Property & Casualty insurance while supporting Account Managers and Executives in delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Managers and Account Executives with day-to-day servicing of client accounts
• Assist with client and carrier requests by gathering information, preparing documentation, and following up as needed
• Help cultivate and maintain positive client relationships
• Prepare ID cards, certificates of insurance, ACORD applications, binders, and cancellations
• Assist in preparing client presentations, proposals, and other documents
• Maintain lists of open items and ensure timely completion of outstanding tasks
• Analyze policies and endorsements to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Follow up with carriers for outstanding endorsements, corrections, and policy updates
• Participate in special projects to deepen industry knowledge
• Support internal team processes and maintain accurate documentation

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Exposure to or interest in P&C Commercial Lines
• Insurance, Risk Management, or related coursework or training
• Experience with EPIC or other agency management system is a plus
• New or recent college graduate is ideal
• 1–2 years of relevant insurance or corporate experience is preferred but not required
• Internships or coursework in insurance, risk management, or business are a plus
