- Job Description:
- Supports daily Human Resources administrative operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
- Processes HR department applications, including employment and enrollment applications; maintains HRIS and employment records.
- Provides accurate preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll and the administration of the payroll system.
- Reviews the computation of pay and associated deductions for accuracy.
- Ensures payroll issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
- Maintains employee files and HRIS records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinates background checks, I-9s, and required documentation.
- Process regular, supplemental, and off-cycle payrolls accurately and on schedule.
- Verify employee hours, rates, earnings, and deductions.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role.
- Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- HRIS experience (Paylocity or similar HR platforms preferred).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Multi-state payroll processing experience preferred but not required.
- Very detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with timesheets and confidence using payroll systems.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
