Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher looking for a flexible, remote opportunity to impact students across Pennsylvania? We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Special Education Teacher to join our virtual team. You ll provide individualized instruction and support to K-12 students, helping them thrive in an online learning environment while working from home. As a 1099 contractor, you ll have the freedom to set your own schedule and work independently.

Key Responsibilities: Â Provide virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring that IEP goals are met. Â Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in collaboration with parents and school staff. Â Use engaging, research-based teaching methods tailored to students' specific needs. Â Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth. Â Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to promote success. Â Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure a supportive learning environment for all students. Â Stay up-to-date on special education regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications:  Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education.  Active Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification (required).  Experience developing and implementing IEPs.  Prior experience working in a virtual setting is a plus.  Strong knowledge of special education laws, including IDEA and 504 plans.  Excellent communication and organizational skills.  Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
