Partner to Help Launch a Newly Redesigned Wordpress Website! (Elementor)

Hi there!

I am looking for someone to help me finalize a website redesign on Wordpress Elementor. Long story short, the site was originally built by a third party agency on their own custom theme. I was brought in by the company to do in-house marketing + SEO, and things were kind of a mess. From tricky customizations & updates to crazy, unoptimized URLs and everything in-between, it wasn’t set up for current OR future success.

I felt it was in our best interest to redesign the website entirely on Elementor before taking strides to enhance the organic positions and risk these big changes in the future. This way we’re set to start ranking on a site that can actually perform and expand with the company.

That said, my strengths are not website development, as my primary background is Copywriting & SEO. However, I am adept at design and have completely redesigned our website, and this is where you’ll come in!!

I am looking for a partner to help me complete the final steps necessary for this process. I pretty much have all pages ready to go, so this will include a variety of tasks. If you’re able to help with all of them, great! Or, if you’re experienced in only one area, please still apply as I can hire other freelancers to fill any gaps. The thing is, and this is the most important part of who I am looking to hire, is that I’d really love to join in via screen share during some of these processes to learn from and guide you through what I have already done.

While there may be tasks you can take on by yourself, I'd love to take the chance to enhance my knowledge and perhaps we could schedule a few 3-4 hour sessions to get things done together. Again, understanding this and being okay with this is a big part of who I will hire!

The primary goals are:

• General site audit & suggestions. Just check things out and identify things I might be missing (certain plugins, any accessibility issues, etc)

• Google ads, analytics, and search console tracking. Just making sure tracking on the new website is good to go and properly enabled.

• URL redirect audit/help. I have a spreadsheet ready to go with all redirects but I want to ensure I am approaching this correctly and have them set up correctly at launch.

• Launching the new site is the biggest area where I need support. The current live site and the new redesigned site are set up as two separate WordPress installations on SiteGround, while the domain is managed through Network Solutions. I need help with the final launch process, including pointing the domain correctly, avoiding downtime, and making sure the transition is smooth.

• All other considerations here, such as security, post-launch performance, SEO suggestions, etc.

Like I said, I am really just hoping to find a considerate person who understands my position and wants to help finalize this launch while instilling a bit of knowledge here and there.
