What You'll Do
As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless pharmacy operations and excellent patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Patient Enrollment and Data Entry: Using arenaflex prescription data entry techniques and guidelines, you will process new patient enrollments by accurately entering data into our sophisticated pharmacy management systems. You will handle patient medication requests within strict HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
- Information Research and Interpretation: You will investigate to obtain missing prescription information, interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve all data entry-related exceptions with precision and attention to detail.
- Patient Communication: Handle correspondence with patients through inbound calls, chats, and emails. You will also make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed to gather information, clarify details, or follow up on requests.
- Third-Party Issue Resolution: Resolve third-party rejections by researching, collecting information, making necessary amendments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. You will make phone calls to backup plans and other stakeholders to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve the third-party rejections.
- Pharmacy Support: Provide assistance to Pharmacists, both those in your office and those at other locations. You will identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
- Compliance and Licensing: Must obtain an active technician license or certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active technician license or certification throughout your tenure with arenaflex.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential capabilities:
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in fundamental computer operations including starting up and shutting down computers, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving documents, printing documents, and accessing information online.
- Web Navigation Skills: Basic web browser skills including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using search engines, bookmarking websites, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
- Keyboard Proficiency: Intermediate level keyboarding skills with a minimum typing speed of 25 WPM, typing from memory, and organizing documents efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree is preferred for this position, demonstrating the academic foundation needed to excel in our fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications
