The Role

We’re looking for a part-time Operations Manager to work directly with the Founder. This isn’t a traditional assistant role, you’ll turn big ideas into action, build scalable systems, manage priorities, and keep the business running smoothly. You’ll have a mix of strategic and hands-on responsibilities, helping the business operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

● Convert strategy sessions and “brain dumps” into SOPs, workflows, and project plans

● Own Monday.com to ensure deadlines are met and nothing slips through the cracks

● Monitor high-level financial reports (P&Ls) and spot trends

● Participate in 3–5 hours/week of strategy sessions with the Founder

● Keep the team focused on priorities in a fast-moving environment

● Support HR and operations tools like the company handbook, Gusto payroll, and 401(k)

Schedule & Environment

● 20 hours/week, core availability Monday–Friday, 9am–3pm CST

● Mostly remote with asynchronous work

● Travel to Milwaukee 2–4 times per year for team meetings (REIA Hard Money covers all

costs if you’re outside the market)

Compensation & Benefits

● $30/hour, paid bi-weekly

● Opportunity to transition to a salaried W2 role as the business grows

Ideal Candidate

● Thinks in systems and thrives on turning chaos into order

● Familiar with or willing to learn EOS (Traction / Rocket Fuel)

● Comfortable with AI tools and platforms like Monday.com, Jotform, and mind mapping

software

● Assertive, direct, and able to support a high-energy Founder while protecting the

business’s efficiency

● Local to Milwaukee or within an hour’s commute
