A company is looking for a Clinical Reviewer, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Oncology).
- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial clinical reviews and render authorization approvals based on established criteria
- Act as a clinical liaison to providers, clients, and patients, and maintain communication regarding treatment recommendations
- Coordinate with utilization management staff to ensure timely communication of clinical decisions and participate in peer clinical review activities
- Required Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or a master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited program
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the practice of Oncology
- Current, unrestricted state PA or RN/NP license in the required specialty
- Passing score on a national certifying exam for PAs
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements with at least two years in a regulatory role (preferred)
