Methodologist in Accounting Automation

We are seeking an experienced specialist to develop, implement, and support methodologies for accounting processes and automation within ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and process analysis, with practical experience in financial reporting under IFRS. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and IT specialists to ensure effective integration and optimization of business processes and accounting systems.

Job responsibilities

  • Participation in projects related to the implementation or support of accounting/ERP systems;
  • Analysis of current processes, adjustment or development of new methodologies;
  • Analysis of new products and processes, drafting logic and methodology for their reflection in accounting systems;
  • Communication with stakeholders and cross-team interaction.

Requirements

  • Higher education in economics, finance, or accounting.
  • At least 5 years of experience in methodology, consulting, or audit.
  • Experience at the intersection of methodology, analytics, and IT systems is preferred.
  • Practical experience in preparing IFRS financial statements is desirable, including: transformation, consolidation, preparation of reports and disclosures.
  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to describe them for accounting and automation purposes.
  • Experience in analyzing and documenting end-to-end business processes, including translating requirements from one system to another.
  • Communication skills with IT teams, business units, and contractors; ability to speak the same language with different stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, systems thinking, and willingness to dive into system settings and logic.
  • Experience with accounting systems (1C, 1C ERP, Oracle, or similar).
