- Job Description:
- Drive new business growth by selling Wells Fargo merchant products and payment solutions to diverse, complex small‑business clients
- Partner closely with Small Business Managers and LOB stakeholders to support an assigned territory
- Provide consultative, solutions‑based selling, including software integrations, standalone terminals, eCommerce, and mobile payment capabilities
- Identify and prospect new opportunities, manage a strong sales pipeline, and execute territory development strategies
- Apply independent judgment to resolve complex client situations while navigating policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with internal partners, internal/external customers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless client implementation and long‑term success
- Requirements:
- 2+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience
- Experience selling merchant services in a large bank or major financial institution
- Proven prospecting success, including client outreach, lead conversion, and pipeline management
- Strong communication skills and business acumen
- Business-to-business (B2B) sales background
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong prospecting, influence, and relationship-building skills
- Confident presentation skills with diverse client and stakeholder groups
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Strong organizational skills, including proficiency with CRM systems
