Client is seeking a contract IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC)Application Developer/Tester (Mendix) to support software development.
TheMendix LC/NC Developer will assist in a highly visible and time-criticalapplication development effort, leveraging the Mendix platform to
rapidlydeliver secure, scalable, and user-centered solutions. This is an approximatelythree-month contract position with possible extension.
Responsibilities
•AssistBusiness Analysts (BA) with requirements gathering, system design, applicationdevelopment, testing, and implementation using the Mendix low-code platform
•Participatein design sessions and contribute to the enhancement of operational systems,business processes, and reports
•Analyzeand chart existing business processes to define current-state activities forprocedure and application modeling
•Developand document future-state business processes, including:
oBusinessrules
oProcessflow diagrams
oInter-departmentworkflows
•Configureand develop Mendix applications, including: oMicroflows and nanoflows oDomainmodels oUI components and pages oIntegrations and data sources (as applicable)
•PrepareUser Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases and coordinate UAT activities withbusiness stakeholders
•Performdata validation and quality assurance activities within Mendix applications
•Assistin pre-go-live testing efforts and respond promptly to issues that arise
•Participatein regular status calls and meetings with agency clients and internal projectteams
•Createand maintain project documentation related to development, implementation, andtransition phases
•Ensurethe Scrum Master / Project Manager is kept informed of task progress, risks,and action items
•Troubleshootapplication issues and assist with defect resolution
•Performother duties as assigned
PreferredSkills
Theideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
•Hands-onexperience with Low-Code / No-Code platforms, with Mendix strongly preferred
•Experiencedeveloping, testing, and deploying applications in Agile/Scrum environments
•Familiaritywith JIRA for backlog management, defect tracking, and sprint planning
•Experienceworking as part of a Scrum team (developers, BAs, testers, product owners)
•Experiencewith SQL Server querying, reporting, and diagnostics
•Understandingof PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance standards
•Experiencewith automated testing tools and methodologies
•Strongdocumentation, communication, and collaboration skills
•Abilityto support time-sensitive, high-visibility applications in a public-sectorenvironment
