Medical Insurance Credentialing Specialist Full-Time

We are Independent Practice Partners, a company specializing in starting medical ophthalmology practices across the nation. We are looking to grow out management team!

This position is for a remote (work from home) position

We are looking for a full time medical credentialing specialist to complete the following tasks:
• Complete and process credentialing applications with commercial and government payers
• Negotiate and fully execute provider contracts
• Help develop internal credentialing processes across multiple states
• Monitor license and medical credential expiration dates
• Ensure the provider and staff are following insurance billing guidelines
• 2 years experience with medical insurance credentialing is required
• Assist with other administrative duties

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:
• medical insurance credentialing: 1 year (Preferred)
• insurance contracting: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: Remote
