The Media Buying Associate will be responsible for executing high-impact campaigns, negotiating cost-effective media buys, and fostering partnerships with clients and media vendors.


Responsibilities

  • Secure cost-effective delivery across TV, OOH/DOOH, Radio, and CTV without compromising on quality or brand safety
  • Treat media vendors as partners, not just "sellers."
  • Act as the client's budget guardian
  • Manage contracts, actuals, and revisions with 100% accuracy and transparency
  • Prioritize local media opportunities and diverse Canadian perspectives to ensure campaigns resonate in our unique market
  • Use nLogic and Excel to prove value

Skills

  • 1-3 years of media buying (TV/Radio/CTV) in the Canadian market
  • Proficiency in MediaOean, DDS/Prisma, nLogic, and the standard Google and MS Office suite
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Media, Marketing, or a related field
  • A track record of success driven by critical thinking and a desire to challenge industry assumptions
  • Understanding of how the dollars flow and what great can be
  • You believe in doing the right thing, even when no one is looking
  • Understanding of the Canadian media landscape and the importance of supporting domestic journalism and platforms
  • Value collaboration over ego
  • Math-proficient, detail-oriented, and obsessed with eliminating waste in media spend
  • Understanding of compliance and quality
