Mechanical Designer

Ayres Associates is a nationally recognized USA Today Top Workplace seeking a full-time mechanical designer for their MEP division. The role involves working on diverse projects, collaborating with project managers and design staff, and contributing to a culture of excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Model buildings using Revit design software
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design
• Run energy calculations using Trane Trace, EnergyPro, and other energy modeling software
• Run ventilation and indoor air quality calculations, as well as a variety of plumbing calculations
• May be called upon to complete 2D-drafting using AutoCAD tools
• Coordinate mechanical design with electrical and architectural team

Skills

• An associates degree in mechanical design, bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering with an emphasis on mechanical
