Protective Industrial Polymers (PIP) is a family-owned manufacturer of high-performance flooring and coating systems, and they are seeking a Market Development Representative to help grow their new Architecture division. The role involves building relationships with architects, designers, and project managers to drive sales and develop a pipeline of clients while receiving mentorship and support from experienced sales leaders.


Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline - by connecting with potential clients through outreach, networking, presentations, referrals, and in-person appointments
  • Develop real relationships — learn what clients actually need and help them find the right solution from our product line
  • Manage the sales cycle - from first contact through close, with senior leader support at every stage
  • Coordinate across teams — work closely with sales and marketing to follow up on leads, schedule meetings, and keep projects moving
  • Own your territory — you'll have the chance to own a piece of the territory meaning you earn commission not just on the deals you close personally, but across your entire geographic territory

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1-3+ years of sales experience or experience in a people centric role
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, but we have hired great people without one
