POSITION PURPOSE

We're looking for a Communications & Creator Partnerships Manager to own how Credo shows up in the world beyond our own channels. This person manages earned media, influencer and creator relationships, Substack partnerships, and emerging channels like Reddit and LLMs — making sure Credo is part of the conversations our customers are already having in real time. This is a brand-new role at a pivotal moment. We're investing in earned content as a strategic growth lever, and we need someone who thinks like both a storyteller and a strategist.

This is a remote role that may require minimal travel as needed to store locations across the US.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

PR & Earned Media

Own the PR strategy and day-to-day operations, from big swings to timely pitches

Drive earned coverage positioning Credo as the authority in beauty

Build and maintain relationships with key editors, journalists, and beauty media contacts

Identify and pitch story angles that are uniquely Credo's to tell

Influencer & Creator Partnerships

Own the influencer strategy — from briefing to execution to performance tracking

Manage the influencer agency relationship and hold them accountable to results

Identify creators who genuinely use and love Credo products and develop relationships with them

Own ShopMy as a creator monetization and attribution tool

Develop aspirational brand partnerships that make Credo gifting feel cool and culturally relevant

Emerging & Off-Channel

Own Credo's presence on Reddit, Substack, and other community-driven platforms

Develop relationships with Substack creators for editorial partnerships and gifting features

Ensure Credo shows up accurately and positively in AI-generated recommendations and LLM search

Answer questions openly in community spaces — building trust and discoverability

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

4–6 years of experience in PR, communications, influencer marketing, or a combination

A genuine love for beauty — you know the brands, you follow the creators, you read the Substacks

Strong existing relationships with beauty media and/or creators

Experience managing agencies and holding external partners accountable

A storyteller's instinct — you know what makes a pitch land and what makes content spread

Comfort with data — you can track performance, read a ShopMy dashboard, and tie earned efforts to business results

Experience at a fashion or beauty brand or retailer preferred

Familiarity with LLM optimization or AI discoverability strategies

An entrepreneurial mindset — this role is being built, not inherited
