Loan Processor/Loan Officer Assistant/LO (1099 Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, licensed finance professional in California to join our mortgage lending team on a contract basis. This is a remote position geared towards a self-motivated professional with an established pipeline, but depending upon experience and interest would consider loan operations specialists or loan officers/originators.

This is a contract based position and compensation will vary depending upon lending volume

Requirements
• Active California NMLS ID required
• Proven track record in the mortgage lending industry
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficient with loan origination software and systems
• History of processing loans from initial documentation to COE

Position Details
• Employment Type: 1099 Contract
• Location: Remote (California-based)
• Role: Support existing mortgage origination and processing operations or established LO with current pipeline to join team.

Responsibilities
• Provide end-to-end support through the mortgage origination process
• Review loan files for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, borrowers and third parties such as AMC, credit reporting agencies, insurance agents and escrow officers
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
• Manage pipeline efficiently and meet processing deadlines
• Maintain clear communication with all parties throughout the loan process

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
