- Position Summary: Provides a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or case management services for individuals, children, couples, groups, and/or families, as appropriate to position. Works under the direct guidance of a LCSW within Community Health and Wellness. Will participate in case consultation and present cases at clinical meetings. This position is in our North Canaan office (24 hours) and in Torrington and/or Winsted offices (18 hours).Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

- School Based Health Center
- An understanding of the workings of school systems

- The ability to independently (with support) develop a caseload while working within the school system General Requirements:

Confidentiality: Access to and use of confidential client medical records. Confidentiality must be maintained according to Community Health and Wellness Center policies.
Education: LMSW position requires a Master's degree from an accredited program in Social Work.
Experience: Must have previous experience professionally or from a previous internship with assessing clients, maintaining an EHR, and some individual therapy experience. Group treatment and other therapeutic techniques preferred but not required.
Language Skills: Must speak, write and read English proficiently. Spanish preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification Required: A current license from the Connecticut State Board of Registration and passed a national or state-certified licensing exam.
